Overview of erw/hfw pipes
ERW pipe is the acronym for electrical resistance welded steel pipe, and HFW pipe represents high-frequency welding (HFW) steel pipe & tube. The pipes are made from steel coil and the weld seam runs parallel to the pipe. And it is one of the most versatile tools in agriculture, industry, and construction activities. The manufacturing process of ERW steel pipe includes HFW. ERW involves low, medium, and high-frequency welding, while HFW is especially for high frequency electric resistance welding pipe.
Features of erw/hfw pipes
1. Compared with other forms of welded pipes, ERW pipes are greater in strength.
2. Better performance than common welded pipes and lower cost than seamless pipes.
3. The production process of ERW pipes is far safer than that of other welded pipes.
